VULCAN’S FORGE presents THE SMOKING ROOM by Juan Miller at Children’s Theater of Cincinnati. The Smoking Room is a hilarious romp into a world where some famous individuals (Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill and others) meet some people with ideas considered “crazy” at the time – people like the Wright Brothers and Thomas Edison.

Performances will be free to the public, with donations accepted. Get your free tickets by clicking here.

Vulcan’s Forge is a performing arts organization that involves people with disabilities (www.vulcansforgepac.org). They are partnering with Marjorie Book to produce The Smoking Room by local playwright, Juan Miller.

In The Smoking Room, three psychiatric staff at a hospital admit several new patients who are experiencing mental illness. Among the new patients are Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Princess Diana and many other well-known figures.

We are looking for anyone with an interest in theater to join us as a cast member. This will be staged reading of the play, and actors will be able to use scripts on stage.

We are also seeking volunteers to help on any night of rehearsal. We can use help running lines with actors and filling in for an actor who might be absent for a particular rehearsal
