25th Anniversary Gathering and Raffle

Come celebrate Marjorie Book's 25th Anniversary with us at this free dinner!

We will also hold a raffle that night for prizes including sports tickets and vacation tickers.

THEATRE Productions

Marjorie Book produces three plays each year.  All plays have a diverse cast of actors with and without disabilities.  We are always looking for actors as well as volunteers who can help us on individual rehearsal nights.  

George Bernard Shaw's The Widowers HouseS

Rehearsal Dates:  February 21, 24, 26, 28; March 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 18, 20, 24; April 2, 4, 9, 15 (most actor strive to attend at least 75% of our rehearsals)

Drumming, Chanting, Movement, Stillness

Dates:  Fridays – February 9, February 23, March 9, March 16
Times:  7:00 – 8:30 PM
Location: University of Cincinnati, Teachers College Room 600 (located close to 2602 Clifton Avenue)
Instructor:  Karenna Miller and Troy Miller

This class will teach participants the basics of drumming, and will involve participants in the practice of impromptu drumming in circle with others. In addition, we will look at, and practice, other key elements of the drum circle gathering. These elements are chanting, movement and stillness.

Please come and visit any of our classes to see if they are a fit for you. If you decide to take part in more than one class, service project or theatrical play this year, we will ask you to become a member of Marjorie Book. Members complete a member application and pay an annual membership fee of $65. (A low income fee is available, if needed). If you need help with transportation, please contact us. We may have volunteers that can help.
